Richard has over 30 years of experience working in various domains such as Retail, Research and Development, Construction, Education, Health, Information Technology, Defence and Space, IT Security, and Non-Profit.
Over the years Richard has held various management positions which today make him the person he is. Richard is a goal-oriented visionary and organized team leader and player. Richard is a seasoned, certified project manager and trainer. He was instrumental in setting up a Project Management Office (PMO) for the management of a national Department of National Defence (DND) project and contributed to the improvement of business and Project Management (PM) processes at DND. Richard is continuously taking courses to ensure his knowledge is current. He also teaches project management to various government departments, agencies and private companies.
Richard has many years experience in planning and implementing large scale Information Technology(IT) projects. He has managed IT Architects, Software Architects, Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, Security Analysts, Developers, and Testers.
Richard has played a key role in the planning and implementation of financial management systems such as FAMIS and PBHC Financial Applications Software upgrades. He has worked with accountants, accounts payable/receivable clerks, and procurement staff.
